Lookup Warren County Inmate Records

Warren County inmate records are split between custody-status tools, prison contact channels, court records, and state or federal locator systems. A Warren County jail roster search does not run through a county-hosted roster in the official pages reviewed. Current custody usually starts with a Pennsylvania VINE search, then moves to Warren County Prison if the result is missing or unclear. Older booking records, court charges, and sentenced state-prison records require different record systems.

Warren County Jail Roster Overview

No Warren County-hosted current inmate roster, booking report, or mugshot roster was located on the official Warren County Prison or Sheriff pages inspected for the research. That finding changes the search plan. Warren County inmate records for current custody should not be described as a live county roster with booking numbers, bond fields, and mugshot profiles. The documented public route is Pennsylvania VINE or VINELink, followed by direct contact with Warren County Prison.

The county's official prison page and directory still matter. Warren County Prison is the local facility for pretrial detainees, unsentenced inmates, county-sentenced inmates, work-release population, and people waiting for DOC transfer. For court charges, the formal record is not a jail record at all. It is the UJS docket and the Warren County Clerk of Courts file. For sentenced state prisoners, the PA DOC locator takes over after transfer.

Use Warren County Custody Search

Start with Pennsylvania VINE or VINELink. VINE is built for custody status and victim or public notification. It can be useful when a person is in custody, but its public fields depend on the result and it is not a county booking sheet. If the arrest is very recent, the name is misspelled, or the person has been moved, a VINE search can miss what a phone call or records request later confirms.

  1. Choose Pennsylvania in VINE or VINELink before searching.
  2. Search by first and last name, or use an offender ID if one is known.
  3. Review custody status and any notification option shown for the person.
  4. Call Warren County Prison if the person is not found, the arrest is recent, or release status is unclear.
  5. Switch to UJS, PA DOC, BOP, or ICE when the question is about charges, state custody, federal custody, or immigration custody.

Warren County Roster Search Fields

The public search fields documented for Warren County current custody are VINE fields. The table below should be read as a custody-status search table, not as a Warren County Prison profile inventory. The county FAQ provides housing-unit names for visiting schedules, but it does not publish a searchable inmate profile page in the inspected sources.

Warren County Inmate Profile Fields

Warren County inmate records should not be padded with fields the county did not publish. VINE is the confirmed current-custody route, while charges, bond, and docket dates are better checked in court systems. A booking record may exist even when the county does not place it in a public web profile, so older or more detailed records often require Open Records or direct office contact.

County, State, and Federal Inmates

Warren County inmate records are easy to misread if the custody type is skipped. A local pretrial inmate belongs in Warren County Prison and may be found through VINE or direct prison contact. A state-sentenced inmate may remain in the county prison for a time while awaiting DOC transfer, then later appear in the PA DOC locator. A sentenced federal inmate belongs in the BOP locator. Immigration custody belongs in the ICE detainee locator.

Booking Process in Warren County

Warren County does not publish a complete booking manual in the inspected sources. The local process can still be explained from confirmed prison and Pennsylvania rule material. After arrest by a local agency, Pennsylvania State Police, sheriff warrant action, or another law-enforcement agency, the person may be taken to Warren County Prison or to a court process depending on the warrant, charge, and timing. Intake commonly includes identity confirmation, custody paperwork, search, property handling, screening, and classification.

Preliminary arraignment is governed by Pennsylvania Rule of Criminal Procedure 540. If a defendant is detained after preliminary arraignment, the rule says the defendant must have an immediate and reasonable chance to post bail, secure counsel, and notify others. If bail is not posted and no release condition applies, the defendant is committed to jail as provided by law. Court charges then develop through UJS and Clerk of Courts records, not through a Warren County online roster.

Warren County Visitation Rules

The Warren County Prison FAQ sets visiting rules by housing unit. Visitors must be on the inmate's approved visitor list, arrive and register ten minutes before the scheduled time, show photo identification, supervise children, dress appropriately, and avoid phones, cameras, tobacco, and contraband. Former inmates must wait one full year after incarceration before visiting other inmates.

Contact a Warren County Inmate

Personal mail is sent to a scanning company and then made available on inmate tablets. The FAQ says scanned mail is destroyed, and the county recommends not mailing irreplaceable photos. The mailing format is sender full name and address, Warren County Jail, inmate name and inmate ID number, PO Box 16060, Jonesboro, AR 72403.

Phone service is through ICSolutions. Users can create an account online or call customer care at 1-888-506-8407, with representatives available 24 hours a day. Phone-service funds apply only to phone calls. Money for commissary, tablet items, and calls goes through JailATM online or a lobby kiosk at the prison.

Commissary and Inmate Funds

Warren County's FAQ names two public deposit routes. Online deposits are made through JailATM by creating an account, finding the facility, entering the inmate's name, and depositing by credit card. Cash or credit-card deposits may also be made through the prison lobby kiosk. Clothing rules are more limited: during the first 14 days of incarceration, approved white socks, T-shirts, underwear, and wireless bras must be purchased through Jail Canteen, and after that period inmates use commissary.
